Born in Imola (Italy) on November 11th 1991, he began riding very young following his dad’s passion and jumped his first grand prix class at the age of 15. He competed in many Nation’s Cups for Italy, both in the Young Riders category and in the Seniors category.

His first major win was in 2009 when he won the Young Riders Grand Prix at the CSIO Young Riders in Bologna (Italy) with Peau D’Ane.

Viva la Donna was his best horse  for the past few seasons, and was retired from the sport at the beginning of 2017 and went on to breeding . They were placed 4th in the Young Riders Italian Championships in 2011 and he won the Young Riders GrandPrix at the Future Champions Young Rider CSIO in Hagen a T.W. (Germany) in 2012. In 2016 they finished 4th in the Senior’s Italian Championships in Arezzo. He started riding her when she was 7 years old.

Cenerado is now his best Grand Prix horse,  and Giacomo took over his reins when he was 6 years old and jumped 90 cm classes. In 2016 he scored his best career result jumping with a single time fault the CSI 4* Longines Grand Prix in Ascona (Switzerland) finishing 11th.

Giacomo can count on a few very promising Grand Prix horses, like Quinine du Perron, Lucky della Verdina and Doc, who already won a Grand Prix earlier this year.

Born in Turin (Italy) on June 15th 1992, she started riding at the age of 10 during a summer camp. She jumped many Nation’s Cups for Italy as a Junior, Young Rider and Senior, scoring many wins.

Lumiere was the horse that launched her on the international scene, helping her win two incredible medals in her first European Championship: an Individual Bronze Medal and Team Silver Medal at the Junior Europeans in Hoffddorp in 2009. The two were on  the Italian team for the following three years taking part in another Junior European and two Young Riders European Championships as well as jumping many Nations Cups. Lumiere is now retired and enjoys life at Giacomo’s barn in Italy.

Along with Lumiere, Valentina could count on other two very good horses: Vayana and Power de Guldenboom.

Vayana arrived in her stable at the age of 7 and had jumped only a few 125cm classes after having had 3 foals. Power, instead, arrived as a 5 years old and has developed entirely under her saddle. Vayana was retired from the sport in March 2017 after a problem created during surgery and now is focusing on breeding at the FZ stable owned by Franca Zanetti near Treviso. Power is still going strong and at the age of 15 he recently won a good Grand Prix class in Italy.

Valentina is very focused on University too, and after graduating from her bachelor in December 2015 in Translation at the University of Turin, she started a 2 year masters program in International Tourism in Lugano (Switzerland) at the Università della Svizzera Italiana,  she finished all exams and just has her Thesis left and probably will graduate in October 2018.
